What is frozen shoulder?

The pathogenesis of periarthritis of the shoulder is a progressive shoulder joint dysfunction caused by chronic aseptic inflammation of soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, bursae, ligaments, and joint capsules around the shoulder, mainly manifested as shoulder pain and limited mobility. A chronic strain disease, also known as “frozen shoulder”.

Common patients with periarthritis of the shoulder

People around the age of 50 are high-risk groups. The incidence of women is higher than that of men. Most of them are chronic diseases and the clinical incidence is higher. High-intensity exercise training is the reason for the significant increase in the probability of periarthritis of the shoulder.

Inconvenience caused by frozen shoulder

Once a frozen shoulder occurs, it will bring great inconvenience to the patient’s life and work, and athletes will seriously interfere with their competitive level. Therefore, it is particularly important to actively implement the treatment and rehabilitation of the frozen shoulder.

Treatment of frozen shoulder

In recent years, domestic reports suggest that the curative effect of exercise therapy, ultrashort wave therapy, and interferometric triple therapy on the frozen shoulder is certain. Among them, interfering with electrotherapy – by stimulating the body, regulating the pituitary gland, and increasing the secretion of endorphins, an analgesic substance, to achieve the purpose of pain relief. Rehabilitation training enables joint proprioceptors to continuously emit centripetal impulse signals, which can block/reduce the transmission pathway of pain signals, thereby achieving the purpose of relieving pain, increasing joint range of motion, and restoring upper limb function.

ELITEMED RT700 Interferential Electrotherapeutic Instrument

The interference electrotherapy apparatus is to inputs three-way intermediate frequency currents into the human body crosswise, forming a three-dimensional interference field in the body. At the same time, low-frequency amplitude modulation is performed on the three currents, so as to obtain the dynamic stimulation effect of multiple parts, different directions, angles, and shapes. The low-frequency interference endogenous current formed in the body can inhibit sensory nerves, and at the same time promote the expansion of capillaries and arteries, and the changes in local blood circulation are conducive to the absorption of inflammatory exudates and edema. In addition to effectively relieving pain, the therapeutic apparatus can quickly eliminate fatigue damage caused by pain or exercise.

For frozen shoulder, lateral spondylitis, cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, degenerative osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bruise, contusion, fibromyositis, muscle strain, Stenosynovitis, sciatica, peripheral nerve injury has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

It has the effect of softening scars and loosening adhesions for stenotic leg sphingitis.

It can excite the nerves and muscles and promote the repair of peripheral nerves for muscle dysfunction and disuse muscle atrophy after nerve or muscle injury.
